JAKARTA – The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, also enlivened the commemoration of the 95th Youth Pledge Day 2023 which was held at the National Monument (Monas) on October 28 2023. The highlight of this event was a marching band parade, traditional dance performances and giving gifts. youth award. On this occasion, Menpora Dito led a declaration of commitment and the Youth Pledge.
On this occasion, Menpora Dito emphasized the importance of youth development goals in improving the quality of youth competitiveness and national character. He encouraged youth to strengthen the character of mutual cooperation and mutual assistance which is the characteristic of the Indonesian nation.
“Young people are a valuable asset in building the nation’s future, and through sustainable development, we can ensure an improvement in the quality of life of the entire Indonesian nation,” said Menpora Dito.
Menpora Dito explained that in 2045, Indonesia will face a demographic bonus period, namely when the population of productive age (15-64 years) is greater than non-productive age (65 years and above) with a proportion of more than 60% of the total population. To face this challenge, youth development is a shared task and responsibility.
Menpora Dito invited all parties to unite to optimize this demographic bonus and realize a Golden Indonesia by 2045. He believes that with a spirit of mutual cooperation and cooperation, Indonesia can progress through sports, sports and crafts.
“Our historical duty is to create a better future for future generations. Therefore, let’s work together to optimize the demographic bonus capital to become a Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Menpora Dito.

The Youth Pledge Day event was also attended by various youth organizations, stakeholders and other young officials, including the Deputy Governor of East Java, Emil Dardak, and the President’s Special Staff for Innovation Education and Outermost Regional Development, Billy Mambrasar.
