LOMBOK – Repsol Honda racer, Joan Mir, considers Indonesia to be like ‘paradise’ on earth. This was seen when Joan Mir was mingling with little boys or small children in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, who were playing marbles on the beach.
For your information, MotoGP racers are currently in Lombok to take part in the 2023 Indonesian MotoGP. The 16th series race will take place at the Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, NTB, on 13-15 October 2023.
Even though they are in competition for the championship title, the racers seem to be enjoying the moment while they are in Indonesia. The beauty of the beach near the Mandalika Circuit diverted the racers’ focus. This was also experienced by Joan Mir who was enjoying the natural scenery while interacting with local residents.
In an upload on his personal Instagram account @joanmir36official, Joan Mir looks happy on the beach while looking at small children playing with marbles. “Beach and relaxing day with little fans in HEAVEN,” wrote Joan Mir in his upload statement, Thursday (12/10/2023).
The 26 year old racer also fell in love with the natural beauty of Indonesia. In fact, Joan Mir hopes to meet all Indonesian fans at the Mandalika Circuit.

“I hope to meet you all on the @themandalikagp circuit,” he hoped.
Meanwhile, Joan Mir will use the Mandalika Circuit to achieve good results. Currently, he occupies 22nd position in the 2023 MotoGP standings by collecting 20 points.
Since joining Repsol Honda at the start of the 2023 season, Joan Mir seems to have had difficulty showing good performance like at Suzuki. With the Honda factory, he often couldn’t finish the race due to falls.
