Metallica has announced plans to re-release their first five albums internationally.
The five albums that will be released in colored vinyl format are Kill ‘Em All (1983), Ride The Lightning (1984), Master Of Puppets (1986), …And Justice For All (1988), Metallica (1991).
The five Metallica colored vinyl albums are planned to go on sale worldwide in November 2023.
Metallica also explained that the five series of vinyl albums would look familiar because they had actually been released in collaboration with Walmart in 2021.

Finally, our first five albums in beautiful color pressings are starting to hit international stores!” said Metallica as reported by blabbermouth on Friday (6/10).
The plan is that the Kill ‘Em All vinyl album will be released on November 3 2023. This album will be printed on limited edition colored vinyl with a Jump In The Fire Engine Red theme weighing 180g and featuring the 2016 remastered audio version.
The Ride The Lightning album will be released on December 1 2023 and is pressed on limited edition colored Electric Blue themed vinyl weighing 180g. The album will feature the audio of the 2016 remastered version.
Meanwhile, the Master Of Puppets album is set to be released on January 5 2024. This album will be pressed on 180g Battery Brick limited edition colored vinyl and features the 2017 remastered audio.

The album …And Justice For All will be released on February 2, 2024 and is pressed on 180g Dyers Green limited edition colored vinyl and features the 2018 remastered audio.
The album, titled Metallica, will be released on March 1 2024 and will be pressed on limited edition colored vinyl Some Blacker Marbled weighing 180g. The album will feature 2021 remastered audio.
On the other hand, Metallica’s latest album entitled 72 Seasons successfully sold 146,000 units in the US in the first week of its release.
This achievement made this album immediately sit in position 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and became their 12th album to enter the Top 10 charting.
