PHILADELPHIA – A terrible incident occurred in Major League Baseball (MLB) when Philadelphia Phillies fan, Joie Henney, brought a crocodile to watch his favorite team.
This terrible incident occurred at Citizens Bank Park, when the Philadelphia Phillies lost 2-3 to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Before the match took place, Joie Henney stole the attention of many parties.
The reason is, he was refused entry into the stadium because he tried to bring a crocodile to watch the match. Joie Henney said Wally was an emotional support animal, helping her fight depression and cancer.
Joie Henney has lived with Wally for seven years. He also said he had never met a crocodile like Wally.
“Wally is very different from any crocodile I have met in the last 30 years,” said Joie Henney, quoted by the Daily Mail, Friday (29/9/2023).
Furthermore, Joie Henney said Welly had never shown aggression since they first met. In fact, he explained that Wally was very fun because he liked to sleep with him and take over his pillow and blanket.
“He doesn’t show anger. He doesn’t show aggression. He’s very playful. He sleeps with me, steals my pillow, steals my blanket. He’s amazing,” she explained.
Meanwhile, in 2019, Joie Henney succeeded in getting Wally a license as an emotional support animal. The reason is, he feels Welly has helped him get out of deep depression.
“I was experiencing severe depression and he brought me out of it. My doctor wanted to give me antidepressants and I refused to take them,” he added.
