Suara Sumatra – The Indonesian U-24 National Team failed to continue its journey by winning in the last 16 of the 2022 Asian Games. The defeat occurred when Indonesia U-24 played against Uzzbekistan, Thursday (28/9/2023).
In this match, Indonesia was strengthened by Ramadhan Sananta, who had just been flown to join the Indonesian national team. It is known that Ramadhan also scored a goal in the last minute, but unfortunately the goal was disallowed.
The coach of the Indonesian U-24 National Team, Indra Sjafri, also took issue with the disallowed goal. Indra Sjafri bowed down in gratitude when the Indonesian U-24 National Team striker, Ramadhan Sananta, broke through Uzbekistan’s goal in the 108th minute.
The position of the Indonesian national team is still losing at 0-1 after opposing player Sherzod Esanov broke through the Garuda Muda squad’s goal in the 92nd minute near the end of the match.

Prostrations of gratitude were made because with this goal, the Indonesian U-24 National Team was able to force Uzbekistan to a penalty shootout.
Unfortunately, Ramadhan Sananta’s goal was disallowed because he was deemed to be in an offside position.
Instead of catching up, the Indonesian U-24 National Team’s goal guarded by Ernando Ari Sutaryadi was broken again in the 120+1 minute, which resulted in an additional goal for the opponent.
“Honestly, until now we don’t know why our goal was disallowed by the referee. Is it offside? “Of course an event of this magnitude has VAR (Video Assistant Refree) so that the decision is valid whether it is offside or not,” said the former Bali United tactician as reported by Suara Denpasar from the Suara.com page, Thursday (28/9/2023).
The Indonesian U-24 national team also had to admit Uzbekistan’s superiority with a final score of 0-2.
