Striker Ramadhan Sananta has arrived in China to join the Indonesian U-24 national team which will compete in the round of 16 of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
The arrival of the striker from Persis Solo was met directly by the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee – National Team Body (BTN) Sumardji and several team officials.
“I have to be 100 percent ready, because if we are called, we have to be ready to give everything. “It’s also nice to be able to join other friends,” said Sananta as quoted from an official statement, Tuesday 26 September 2023.
The 20 year old striker asked for prayers from all Indonesian people to be able to unleash their best potential when defending the Red and White in the round of 16.

“Pray for us so that we can give the best for the nation and state, especially for me so that I can give 100 percent,” said Sananta.
The Indonesian national team is certain to qualify for the round of 16 as the best third place after picking up three points from one win and two defeats in Group F.
The journey of Rizky Ridho and friends at the 2022 Asian Games began with a 2-0 win in the first match against Kyrgyzstan. However, they suffered two defeats with similar scores when they met Taiwan and North Korea (0-1), so Indonesia recorded a goal difference of 0.
Indra Sjafri’s team will face Uzbekistan in the round of 16, after Uzbekistan narrowly won 2-1 over Hong Kong. The round of 16 will be held on Thursday (28/9).
