It is known that reading the sholawat of the Prophet is a form of love for the Prophet SAW. The recommendation to read the sholawat of the Prophet is also stated in Al Quran chapter Al Ahzab verse 56 which reads as follows.
Indeed, God and His kingdom bless the Prophet. O you who have believed, bless him and grant him peace.
God bless the angels, peace and blessings be upon him.

Meaning: “Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who believe! Pray for the Prophet and greet him with respect.” (QS Al Ahzab: 56)
So, how does the correct recitation of the Prophet’s sholawat sound? For more clarity, here is a collection of recitations of the Prophet’s prayers that can be practiced by Muslims.
1. Sholawat ma’tsuroh
O God, bless our master Muhammad, your servant, your prophet and your messenger, the prophet of the unlettered, and upon his family and companions.
Allahumma shalli ala Muhammadinin ‘abdika wa rosulika nabiyyil ummi wa’alaa aalihi wa sallim.

It means: “O Allah, bestow mercy upon our lord Prophet Muhammad, Your servant, Your prophet, and Your messenger who is Ummi and bestow upon his family and companions, also bestow upon them peace.”
2. Sholawat ghairu ma’tsuroh
O God, bless and bless our master Muhammad, the conqueror of what was closed, the seal of what came before, the supporter of the truth with the truth, and the guide to a straight path. May God’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and his companions, according to his true destiny and great destiny.
Allaahumma shallahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa aalihi wa aash haabihi haqqa qadrihi wa miqdaarihil ‘adziimi, may Allaahumma shalli wa sallim wa baarik ‘alaa Sayyidina Muhammadinil faatihi five of the greatest, wal khaatimi five sabaqa wan naashiril haqqa bilhaqqi, wal haadi ila shiraathikal mustaqiimi, shallaallaahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa aalihi wa ash haabihi haqqa qadrihi wa miqdaarihil ‘adziimi.
Meaning: “O Allah, pour out the mercy of takzim, peace and blessings to our master, Prophet Muhammad, as the opener of something that was locked (closed) and the closure of something that came before (the messengers). He is the helper of truth with truth and the guide to the path- You who are upright. May God bless Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions with the power and measure of God Almighty.”
3. Nariyah sholawat reading
O God, bestow a complete blessing and complete peace upon our master Muhammad, by whom contracts are unraveled, distress is relieved, and needs are met.
Through him, longing desires and good endings are attained, and clouds are given water by his generous face, and upon his family and companions, the number of all that is known to you.
Alloohumma Sholaatan Kamilatan wasallim Salaman Taamman ‘alaa Sayyidina Muhammadinil Ladzi Tanhallu Bihiil ‘uqodu wa tanfariju bihil kurobu wa tunaalu bihil hawaa-iju wa tunaalu bihir-roghoo-ibu wa husnul khowaatimi wa yustasqol ghomaamu bi wajhiil kaarimi wa Lihii wa shohbihi and kulli lamhatin wa na benefits from the ‘addi of the ma’luumin.
Meaning: “O Allah, bestow perfect mercy and greetings on our master Prophet Muhammad SAW. May all kinds of troubles be resolved with his blessings, be freed from all hardships, fulfill all kinds of wishes, and achieve all kinds of desires and husnul khotimah.
Poured rain water (mercy) with his noble personal blessing. May the grace and perfect greetings also continue to pour out to his family and friends, every blink of an eye and breath, as many as you know.”
