The coach of the Indonesian U-24 National Team, Indra Sjafri, recently appeared to reveal the reason behind Ramadhan Sananta suddenly being able to defend the young Garuda squad at the 2022 Asian Games.
As is known, in the group F phase Ramadhan Sananta did not play so the attack line of Indra Sjafri’s team was somewhat dull. Therefore, the U-24 Indonesian National Team had to accept defeat against Chinese Taipei aka Taiwan and North Korea.
Ramadhan Sananta was initially not released at the start of the 2023 Asian Games, but in the last 16, Persis Solo finally released its flagship bomber to strengthen it.
Reportedly, the forward player was not initially released by Persis Solo to strengthen the national team at the Asian Games.

However, after the Indonesian U-24 National Team passed the round of 16, it was suddenly reported that Sananta would soon be flying to defend the Garuda squad.
Indra Sjafri as the coach explained the reasons why Sananta was suddenly able to play for the U-24 National Team in the round of 16.
It turns out the reason is because Indonesia still has two player quotas to take part in the competition.
“Because currently we only have 20 players out of the 22 players who have been registered,” he said, quoted from the official PSSI website on Monday (25/9/2023).
Indra Sjafri said that the U-24 Indonesian National Team needed a Sananta figure to face the round of 16.

“Sananta won’t leave until midnight. It’s possible it will arrive in Hangzhou tomorrow afternoon,” he explained.
