Founders Uma Oma said that this concept was created to revive memories of spending time with grandmother and cure longing for grandmother’s cooking.

As previously mentioned, Uma Oma empowers elderly people called “Oma” into a team called “Oma’s Favorite Team”, which in the cafe plays the role of grandmother who welcomes her beloved grandchildren to visit her home. Not only does this cafe have a unique and authentic concept, the mission of this cafe is to keep seniors healthy, active and productive in their old age.

Reporting from the official Instagram, this cafe has three floors. For visitors who want to eat heavy food, you can choose a seat on the 1st floor. For those who just want to drink coffee and have a relaxing snack, a suitable place is on the 2nd floor.
In this cafe, the decoration is adapted to the concept of a grandmother’s house, one of which is the seating in the form of rattan chairs which gives a classic impression.

Uma Oma provides home-cooked menus of Oma’s Empal gentong, Oma’s black squid rice, Balinese spicy rice, Melawai tongue rice, and Tegal rice. Apart from that, there is also a large menu for those of you who want to hold a family event here, namely tumpeng rice and Oma’s typical nasi rantang.
So, for those of you who want to just hang out or do homework at Uma Oma, there are various types of coffee, various iced teas, and traditional drinks such as ginger milk, wedang uwuh, and Oma tamarind ice. Snacks that must be tried include palm fried bananas, kaya toast bread, jalangkote, baked sponge cake, and smoked beef mayo risol.
