RIYADH – King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud is the absolute king of Saudi Arabia, a kingdom that has wealth of USD 1.4 trillion (more than IDR 21,530 trillion). That figure is almost 16 times the wealth of the British Royal Family.
The wealth figure is a calculation by CNBC. As an absolute monarch, of course King Salman can easily afford anything with a fantastic price tag.
In fact, he has the power and authority to buy things that are not even for sale.
However, King Salman is known for showing his love for simple things. She is often seen wearing the Chopard Imperiale Ref. 388532-3002, a simple watch priced at only USD 6,510 (more than Rp. 100 million).

Quoting Luxury Launches, Wednesday (20/9/2023), the Chopard Imperiale is a very simple watch—of course for rich people—but elegant with a stainless steel case and matching bracelet.
The small 36mm case has a fixed bezel, and features a lotus-shaped crown set with gemstones.
The watch has a two-tiered dial with an outer ring featuring a flat silver finish and index hour markers.
Roman numerals mark the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. The date window appears at the 3 o’clock position and the center of the dial gets an engraved embroidered pattern. Instead of using a mechanical movement, this watch is equipped with a battery-powered Quartz movement.
Interestingly, the Chopard Imperiale is a women’s watch that reminds people of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia. The Indian billionaire is also often seen wearing a discontinued Rolex watch for women.
