For more than three years, Ashraf Sinclair has left the world. This was a heavy blow for Bunga Citra Lestari (BCL) and their son, Noah.
BCL did not expect that her husband, who looked healthy, breathed his last on the evening of February 18 2020. BCL admitted that he was so shocked that he did not remember a number of details on the day of the incident.
“The moments at that time were like a week or two weeks ago, but not everything has come back to my head until now, I was so shocked. So if there were friends who were at home at that time, I don’t know. ” said Bunga, quoted from the FYP event on the TRANS7 OFFICIAL YouTube channel.

“Not panic, but frozen. I can’t do anything. Don’t even imagine that. I can’t imagine it until it happens and I don’t want people to feel that either,” he added.
Even though three years have passed, the artist who is familiarly called Unge has gone through a moment of mourning full of sadness. The reason is, the couple has lived together for 11 years and built a family.
Losing Ashraf made BCL filled with anxiety. In fact, BCL had difficulty sleeping because he couldn’t accept reality. But in the end, this mother of one child was able to make peace with the situation.
“I couldn’t sleep for weeks and when I went to sleep I hoped it was just a dream, but no. It turned out it wasn’t a dream. I stopped, but my mind was all over the place. The memory of that night came back over and over again. It’s been a few months now, oh it turns out this is real, Unge said.
“Now there are still those moments, but thank God we are moving on again. Not forgetting, but continuing with life. It seems like because of the pandemic, it suddenly came to now. Even though at home I went through a really long grieving process,” he added.
For Unge, Ashraf has not only succeeded in becoming a dream husband, but also a good father figure. “He’s a real family man, taking care of the child from the moment Noah was born until his last day, he really took care of Noah. We took care of the child together,” said BCL.
