Mount Bromo tourism began to be visited by hundreds of tourists after it reopened.
The tourist area was closed for several weeks after a major fire broke out due to a flare that exploded while it was being used by a prospective bride and groom who were having a pre-wedding photo session.
Head of the Administration Section of the TNBTS Center, Septi Eka Wardhani, said that 360 visitors from local and foreign tourists came to Bromo on Tuesday (19/9).
“To date, 360 visitors have come to visit Mount Bromo. Of the total 360 visitors, 245 domestic tourists and 115 foreign tourists,” said Septi, quoting detikcom.
