SOLO – Chef de Mission (CdM) Asian Para Games 2022, Angela Herliani Tanoesoedibjo visited the national training camp (pelatnas) for a number of sports in Solo, on Wednesday (20/9/2023). He seemed familiar with the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rangkabuming, who was also present there.
As is known, in preparation for the 2022 Asian Para Games, a number of athletes are holding training camps in Solo. Angela, who is also Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, had the opportunity to visit the badminton and chess national training.
Angela was present in a red Indonesian team jersey, blue jeans and casual slip-on shoes. Meanwhile, Gibran also appeared relaxed in a black patterned shirt, black trousers and black sneakers.
“What is certain is that we see that the athletes are all enthusiastic. Of course, the presence of Mas Gibran and Kevin (Sanjaya) will also increase the enthusiasm of the athletes to show their best at the 2022 Asian Games,” said Angela, Wednesday (20/9/2023).
Angela and Gibran looked close while monitoring and also serving the media crew to conduct an interview session after the visit. The two of them were seen answering a number of questions from journalists in a relaxed manner and occasionally laughing.
One of the journalists asked about the potential for sports tourism with the holding of national training for a number of sports in Solo. Regarding this, Angela immediately invited Gibran to answer the question.
“Sport tourism? Continue with the owner of this house,” said Angela, smiling and inviting Gibran to answer.
Not only Angela Tanoesoedibjo and Gibran Rakabuming were present to monitor the national training for preparations for the 2022 Asian Games for a number of sports in Solo. They were also accompanied by Indonesia’s proud badminton player, Kevin Sanjaya.
