BURAYDAH – Cristiano Ronaldo almost knocked out a cameraman (KO) in an incident that occurred during the Al Nassr match against Al Raed on Saturday (16/9/2023). This moment occurred when Ronaldo launched a free kick which flew fast and hit a cameraman behind the goal.
Reporting from Sport Bible on Sunday (17/9/2023), this incident occurred when Ronaldo was assigned to take a free kick near the penalty box. Even though Ronaldo’s hard kick narrowly missed the goal, the ball flew quickly and hit a cameraman behind the goal. The cameraman seemed to falter for a moment and almost fell, but he managed to maintain his balance and return to his task.
“Even though he was hit by a dangerous kick from Ronaldo, the cameraman remained professional by trying to hold the camera and remain standing,” said Sport Bible.
There has been no official response from Ronaldo or the cameraman regarding this incident. However, this moment shows how strong CR7’s kick – Cristiano Ronaldo’s nickname is.
In this match, Al Nassr managed to win with a score of 3-1 over Al Raed. Three goals for Al Nassr were scored by Sadio Mane (45th minute+1), Talisca (49th minute), and Cristiano Ronaldo (78th minute). Meanwhile, Al Raed only managed to score one consolation goal through Mohamed Fouzair’s penalty kick in the 89th minute.
This victory means Al Nassr remains unbeaten in the last four matches. Previously, they successfully beat Al Hazm (5-1), Al Shabab (4-0), and Al Fateh (5-0).
