KINGSTON – A man from Jamaica is nicknamed Rasta Rapunzel because he has dreadlocks which he lets fall down like a woman’s hair in a fairy tale.
The 40-year-old revealed that he had been growing his dreadlocks for more than 40 years and had to stand on a roof to show them off.
In the 45-second clip posted on the Instagram page @jamaicaviralofficial, the unnamed man stands on top of a house to dangle his dreadlocks.
Although it is unclear how long his hair is, his dreadlocks appear to extend past his legs.
“You’ve never seen hair like this,” said one eyewitness. “This hair is really dreadlocked,” he added as quoted by the New York Post, Thursday (14/9/2023).
The bearded man was seen wearing a gray t-shirt and black shorts combined with boots and a pink towel wrapped around his shoulders.
She runs her fingers through her long hair while talking to the locals, who marvel at her Rapunzel-like length.
Her ombre hair starts with gray roots, transitions to brown and ends with black tips, which fascinates many who see it.
“Nice to see how you can see it brightening as you get older & more gray hairs grow in,” added one admirer.
