JAKARTA – Huawei Mate 60 Pro has become a hot topic of conversation in the last few days. This smartphone suddenly appeared on the market without any promotion or teaser from the company.
Not only that, the spotlight also focuses on the chipset used by the Huawei Mate 60 Pro. In this case, the United States (US) suspects that the maker of the Kirin 9000S, which is Huawei’s partner, namely Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), has used technology without permission.

1. Equipped with a Kirin 9000S chipset
Huawei Mate 60 Pro is powered by the Kirin 9000S chipset. This sophisticated component is one of the concerns of the United States because it knows that it has blocked Huawei’s access to purchase 5G network technology to develop capable cellphones.
Quoting GSMArena, the advanced Kirin 9000S chipset will be combined with 12GB RAM and three internal storage options. They are 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB respectively.
2. 6.82 inch screen and 3 rear cameras
Huawei Mate 60 Pro features an LTPO OLED screen design measuring 6.82 inches and a resolution of 1212 x 2616 pixels. Along with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the screen is also protected by Huawei Kunlun Glass 2.
Turning to the camera, this new cellphone from Huawei has three rear cameras. Each is a 50 MP main camera, 48 MP telephoto and 12 MP ultrawide.

In terms of battery, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro is equipped with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh. The battery is claimed to be fully charged in just 30 minutes.
