American President Joe Biden and Indonesian President Joko Widodo had the opportunity to meet on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India, Sunday (10/9).
On that occasion, Biden congratulated Jokowi on his “outstanding leadership in ASEAN as chairman of the cooperation forum in 2023, and on the G20 during the Indonesian presidency in 2022,” the White House statement read.
The White House further said, “President Biden looks forward to the arrival of President Widodo in Washington for a bilateral meeting at the White House this November, and also looks forward to the arrival of President Widodo to San Francisco to attend APEC Economic Leaders Week.”
There is no further detailed information about the agenda of the two leaders at the bilateral meeting in November. (em/hour)
