“At the same time, we also have a responsibility to reduce hot tension, to melt the frozen atmosphere, to create space for dialogue,” he said.
Furthermore, Jokowi views that the world currently needs anchors and safe houses. Jokowi said, if all parties are carried away by currents of rivalry, conflict and tension somewhere, it is believed that the world will be destroyed.
“If we are unable to manage differences, we will be destroyed. If we are carried away by the current of rivalry, we will be destroyed. This world needs an anchor, needs a neutralizer, needs a safe house,” said Jokowi.

Furthermore, Jokowi said that ASEAN as part of the Asia Pacific region continues to work hard, collaborate and invite all parties to maintain regional peace and stability.
“Indonesia and ASEAN also continue to voice the interests of Pacific countries, the interests of developing countries, including the right to prosper their people through downstream industry,” he said.
“And thank God, we have also succeeded in reaching an agreement in this area for the end-to-end development of the EV ecosystem which is fully supported by China, Japan and Korea,” continued Jokowi
