PYONGYANG – North Korea (North Korea), which is often the subject of world discussion due to various political and security issues, is also known to have a sophisticated missile program.
North Korean-made missiles, such as the Hwasong, KN, Pukguksong, and Taepodong, have attracted international attention and sparked much speculation and analysis.
Following are the various strengths of these missiles and their impact on global security dynamics.
1. Hwasong: Mid-Range Threat
The Hwasong missile is one of North Korea’s best-known missiles. The Hwasong has medium-range capabilities and has been an important part of North Korea’s missile program.
With a reach spanning much of East and Southeast Asia, Hwasong has created regional and global tensions.
The success of the Hwasong test in reaching a height and range sufficient to threaten strategic targets is significant evidence of the capabilities of this missile.
2. KN: Advanced Technology with Evasion Ability
The KN (New Korean) missile is one of North Korea’s latest technological achievements. This missile is claimed to have the ability to evade enemy missile defense systems with its sophisticated maneuvers.
This capability makes KN a serious threat to countries wishing to protect themselves from potential North Korean attacks.
