Suara Sumatra – Indonesian U23 National Team coach Shin Tae-yong admitted that he had not prepared a special strategy for the U-23 Asian Cup Qualification Group K match at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (9/9/2023).
“We have not implemented any strategy against Chinese Taipei,” he said as reported by Antara, Wednesday (6/9/2023).
Shin Tae-yong admitted that a new game strategy would be formed after the match between Chinese Taipei and Turkmenistan, at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Wednesday night.
“We are on September 9 and 12, but there is a previous match, namely Turkmenistan against Chinese Taipei. So we will think about it, decide what preparation strategy will be used after seeing the previous match,” he said.

After playing against Chinese Taipei, Indonesia will meet Turkmenistan at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, on September 12 2023.
He admitted that he didn’t really understand the playing patterns of the 2022 AFC Cup quarter-finalists. He will only analyze the strength of Ahmet Agamyradov’s team during the first match.
He said he would be able to analyze Turkmenistan against Chinese Taipei and after that he would be able to explain in more detail what kind or strategy was used. He also ensured that the U-23 national team players were in good condition.
Meanwhile, U-23 national team player Rizky Ridho is targeting Indonesia to qualify and appear in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup in Qatar. The Garuda Muda squad will perform in the best way to realize this target.
“In this match, the target is to qualify for the Asian Cup next year. We will follow the coach’s instructions, I am sure that is best for us. I will play as well as possible in the next match,” he said.
