VOICE OF SUMEDANG – Zahra Muzdahlifah is a female Indonesian national team player who is currently pursuing a career abroad.
It seems that on one occasion, Zahra Muzdahlifah did not hesitate to reveal the problems of Indonesian football.
To be precise, he was conducting an interview session with one of the Japanese media.
According to Zahra Muzdalifah, one of the reasons why women’s football in Indonesia cannot develop is because there is no professional competition.

“There is no women’s football league in my country (Indonesia). How can I improve my skills without a league?” said Zahra as quoted from the WE League YouTube channel, Sunday (3/9/2023).
Suddenly, this was also what caused him to choose to pursue a career abroad.
“No competition, just training with male players. That’s why I wanted to go abroad,” he said.
Before landing and pursuing a football career in Japan, Zahra had previously tasted football in England and was finally able to join the women’s club Cerezo Osaka Ladies in the 2023/2024 WE League.
He admitted that he was happy and hoped that Indonesian female football players could get the same opportunities as him.

“Of course I am happy and proud to be that kind of person, but I want more people to be like this, not just me,” he said.
Zahra’s sharp criticism made football fans immediately criticize Erick Thohir.
One of them gave criticism so that PSSI would immediately be ready to form a special football league competition for women.
“Rik @erickthohir’s work as chairman of @pssi is not just about finding opponents for the national team or collaborating with other countries. Create a women’s football league. If there is still no women’s football league, don’t demand a trophy!” said the account @supertjoy
