MEXICO CITY – A man in Mexico experienced an online shopping experience that was perhaps beyond his expectations. The reason is, he ordered a cellphone but instead received a bomb.
Reporting from the New York Post, Sunday (3/9/2023), local Mexican media reported that the unnamed man admitted to having ordered a cellphone from an online shop to his home in Leon, Guanajuato.
According to Jam Press, when the package arrived last Monday, the man’s mother took it inside and placed it on the kitchen table. He didn’t know that his smartphone was actually a smart bomb.
The man then opened the package and it turned out that it contained a fragmentation grenade, as seen in photos circulating in cyberspace.
