Suara.com – Following are the results of the 2023-2024 Premier League on Saturday (2/9/2023) evening WIB where Tottenham Hotspur slaughtered Burnley with a score of 5-2, while Manchester City won a five-goal drama over Fulham.
The Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur duel took place at Turf Moor Stadium. Tottenham fell behind before turning around to win 5-2.
Burnley scored the opening goal through Lyle Foster in the fourth minute, before Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero brought Tottenham to turn things around with goals in the 16th and 45+2 minutes.
In the second half, The Lilywhites appeared crazy. Their new recruit, James Madison scored a goal in the 54th minute, before Son Heung-min scored a hat trick with goals in the 63rd and 66th minutes.

Before the match ended, Burnley scored a consolation goal through Josh Brownhill precisely in the 90+4 minute.
This result makes Tottenham Hotspur temporarily occupy second place in the standings with a collection of 10 points from four matches. Meanwhile, Burnley is sinking at the bottom of the standings without points after three consecutive defeats.
In another match, Manchester City went crazy. Pep Guardiola’s team destroyed their guests, Fulham, with a landslide score of 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City took the lead through Julian Alvarez in the 31st minute, before Tim Ream equalized for Fulham just two minutes later.
Fulham’s resistance unfortunately only got to that point. Man City took the lead again through Nathan Ake in the 45+5 minute, before Erling Haaland scored a hat trick in the second half in the 58, 70 and 90+5 minutes.
