SOLO – Chef de Mission (CdM) Asian Para Games 2023 Angela Tanoesoedibjo is ready to meet the needs of the Indonesian contingent of athletes. The goal is for athletes to achieve the highest achievements.
He conveyed this when the Deputy General Chair of the United Indonesia Party (Perindo) for Digital & Creative Economy reviewed the preparations of the athletes in Solo before flying to China to take part in the 2023 Asian Para Games, 22-28 October. The sports reviewed are Badminton, Cycling and Table Tennis.
“We also input (requests) from fellow athlete coaches, what we can support so that we can both make Indonesia proud,” he said after the inspection.
At the 2023 Asian Para Games, Indonesia sent 265 people. Among them, the contingent leader, 134 athletes, 56 coaches, 62 support staff and 12 managers.
“We hope that the spirit of our friends continues to be awake because there are so many agendas. We continue to encourage our friends,” explained Angela.
The Indonesian contingent is targeting to be in the top 10. “We are optimistic, looking at the achievements so far. Our target is to enter the top 10. God willing, this can be achieved,” emphasized Deputy CdM Andi Herman.
