NEW YORK – Indonesian female tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi, has once again made a name for the nation. This time, he performed brilliantly in the 2023 US Open grand slam mixed doubles number.
Paired with Indian tennis legend, Rohan Bopanna, Aldila Sutjiadi successfully captured the German duo, Andreas Mies/ Vera Zvonareva. Playing at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, New York, United States, Friday (1/9/2023) WIB, the Aldila/Rohan pair won in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
This victory then advanced him to the second round of the 2023 US Open. Aldila’s name is increasingly prominent in the world of tennis, carrying the fragrance of the Red and White.
Previously, Aldila also managed to advance to the second round of the 2023 US Open women’s doubles sector. Partnering with Miyu Kato from Japan, Aldila sent home the pair Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia)/Aliaksandra Sasnovich (Belarus) 7-5, 6-3.
