Some unusual turbulence has caused panic on a Delta Airlines flight departing from Milan.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the aircraft was forced to land at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
According to reports, 11 people were injured, passengers and staff members. All of them were transported to the hospital after landing, while there is no information about their health status.
Flight 175 had 151 passengers and 14 crew members on board. According to an airline report, the plane arrived in Atlanta while the country was engulfed in bad weather.
Severe turbulence caused panic on board when the flight was approximately 40 miles northeast of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The plane managed to land safely, but at least eleven people on board sustained injuries.
