JAKARTA – Indonesia will host a prestigious world-class competition, the 2023 FIBA World Cup, which will be held from 25 August to 10 September 2023.
There are 32 countries participating in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 and are divided into 8 groups. This international level competition was held in 3 countries, namely the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
Indonesia is the host for Group G (Iran, Spain, Ivory Coast and Brazil) and Group H (Canada, Latvia, Lebanon and France). Take part as FIBA Global Ice Cream Partner, PT Yili Indonesia Dairy, a subsidiary of Yili Group.
President Director of Yili Indonesia Dairy, Yu Miao said, globally, Yili Group has become a Global Ice Cream Partner for FIBA (the International Basketball Federation) and it was announced on April 26, 2023. He added, Yili’s support for basketball is motivated by the high public interest in basketball.
“With Yili’s extensive network, we will also expand promotions regarding FIBA and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, which is in line with our efforts to show our products to the world level,” said Yu Miao.
Hopefully in this event, he continued, interest in the sport of basketball in Indonesia will grow so that Indonesia can achieve more like the professional players who appeared in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
