STAMFORD – World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) held a memorial activity or tribute to the death of Bray Wyatt. In fact, WWE awarded the Hall of Fame to the late Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk who passed away on August 23, 2023.
Previously, WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul Levesque aka Triple H gave the news of Bray Wyatt’s death. In fact, he did not expect Bray Wyatt to die at the age of 36 on August 24.
“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt has suddenly passed away,” said Paul Levesque in a statement.
WWE pays tribute to Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk. Michael Cole as the host also said that WWE would honor the legacy of Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.
“Earlier this week, we lost two beloved members of our WWE family, Hall of Famers Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt,” said Michael Cole as quoted from the WWE YouTube channel, Sunday (27/8/2023).
“We will honor their legacy and remember their lives. The lives of two extraordinary men who have touched us all with their passion, creativity and passion,” he continued.
Michael Cole also invited WWE fans to join the arena to pay tribute to Terry Funk and Bray Wyatt. Later WWE will ring the bell 10 times to commemorate the wrestler who died.
Bray Wyatt is a three-time WWE champion. Previously, in April 2023, Bray Wyatt was scheduled to fight Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, but had to cancel because his health condition made it impossible.
