A pregnant woman gave birth to the baby on the plane while traveling from Tachileik to Yangon, a city in Myanmar.
The incident happened 20 minutes after the plane had taken off from Tachileik and despite the lack of medical aid or a doctor, other passengers successfully helped the mother to give birth to a baby girl.
The mother and newborn were later returned to Tachileik for medical attention and were reported to be in good health.
