Suara.com – The home team Arema FC stated that the match against Persikabo 1973 on Monday (28/8/2023) at the Captain Dipta Stadium Gianyar, Bali, would be the start of the squad’s revival to get out of the BRI League 1 relegation zone.
“Our team is ready and tomorrow is the start of our awakening,” said Arema FC coach Kuncoro at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Regency, Bali, Sunday as published by Antara.
He revealed that the 2-2 draw against Persija at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Monday (21/8), became the initial capital for the club with the nickname Singo Edan to aim for three points at home.
“We are playing at home, the hope is that the game will be better than against Persija,” he added.

Kuncoro also admitted that there were no specific players to be wary of from Persikabo 1973. However, he was more wary of the opposing team’s collective play.
He called the opposing player who was closest to his team during the match, a threat that needed to be guarded.
Previously, Kuncoro said that one of his top players, Gustavo Almeida, was recovering after playing against Persija.
Therefore, the player from Brazil is not expected to play against coach Aji Santoso’s team in Week 10 of the Indonesian League 1.
The striker has played a key role so far by contributing nine goals, including against Persija so that the match ended in a draw and Arema added one point.
