The victory of the Indonesian national team over Thailand with a convincing score of 3-1 attracted the attention of the neighboring country’s media, Makan Bola. The reason is, Indonesia in the Group B phase appeared less convincing after being defeated 2-1 by Malaysia and winning narrowly 1-0 over Timor Leste.
Even though they appeared without Bagas Kaffa who was injured, Indonesia appeared strong since the early rounds. In fact, the Indonesian defense line which was raised by the captain, Alfeandra Dewangga appeared convincing in the match which was held at the Rayong Province Stadium, Thailand on Thursday (24/8/2023) night.
Malaysian media, Makan Bola even praised Indonesia’s defense which appeared quite neat.
“Praise should be given to the solid defense who is also the Indonesian captain, Alfeandra Dewangga who is so calm in leading the Indonesian defense line,” the media wrote.
