The U-23 Thailand coach, Issara Sritaro, predicts that the match against the U-23 Indonesian national team in the semifinals of the 2023 AFF U-23 Cup will present a different appearance. Confirmed, all the players will later appear all out to win the final ticket.
“I believe this will be a different match (from the SEA Games final). Almost all players will pour out their emotions in the match later to show their best,” said Issara Sritaro in a press conference, Wednesday (23/8/2023).
Meanwhile, in the U-23 AFF Cup, Thailand and Indonesia did not bring their best players because they did not get permission from the club due to the ongoing competition. Nevertheless, Issara Sritaro said that without his best players, Thailand U-23 would bring out all of their best abilities.
“I believe the two teams, Indonesia and Thailand will not bring a full squad (to the U-23 Aff Cup) but we will put out 100 percent of our performance,” he continued.
The match between Thailand U-23 and Indonesia U-23 is scheduled to take place at the Rayong Provincial Stadium, Thursday (24/8/2023). On paper, Gajah War Muda is more favored to advance to the final round of the 2023 AFF U-23 Cup. This is because Issara Sritaro’s team won Group A after beating Myanmar 3-0, Brunei Darussalam 3-0 and Cambodia 2-0.
