Serang.voice.com – Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy and Chair of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) from the United Development Party (PPP) expressed his hope to build closer cooperation between the Democratic Party and PKS.
Particularly involving Democratic General Chair Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). This statement emerged as a response to the discussion on the potential for the discourse of the Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan duo being promoted by PDIP.
In the context of efforts to accompany Ganjar as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres), Sandiaga Uno welcomed the idea of collaboration between PKS and Democrats.
Although Anies Baswedan is running for president from the Coalition for Change for Unity, which consists of the NasDem, PKS, and Democrat parties. Sandiaga still sees the importance of accelerating the development that has been started by the Jokowi administration.

“In my view, if the Ganjar-Anies duet discourse is realized, it will reflect the results of previous surveys which show that the community supports the continuation of the programs that have been launched by Pak Jokowi, especially in the economic aspect, and also the enthusiasm to unite various forces. ” said Sandiaga in Makassar, Wednesday (23/8/2023).
Apart from that, Sandiaga Uno invites everyone to see all the friendships that are currently being established as something positive and optimistic.
He also hopes that PKS, Democrats, and especially AHY can be involved in further talks. For him, close collaboration between these parties is important in order to achieve the common goal of advancing Indonesia and Golden Indonesia in 2045.
