JAKARTA – Billiards fans around Bandung can get ready to welcome the POBSI Student Cup Series III which will roll on September 4-6 2023. The event, organized by the Executive Board of the All Indonesian Billiards Sports Association (PB POBSI), will take place at the Pitpool Billiards, Jl. Sumatra 5-7, Bandung City, West Java.
This tournament, which is intended for young billiards, has the objective of finding and developing young outstanding billiard athletes. By holding this event, PB POBSI hopes to encourage the regeneration of billiard athletes in Indonesia.
Like the previous series, this tournament gives talented participants an opportunity to show their skills and gain recognition. The hope is that these participants can continue to be consistent in their games and succeed in becoming reliable athletes for Indonesia in the future.
It needs to be informed again, that the criteria for participants who can register are students or students who were born on or after January 1, 2002, and are also Indonesian citizens. Participants who have achieved achievements such as PON medals, National Championship champions, Open champions, and members of the National Team, are unfortunately not allowed to participate in this tournament.
This decision was taken in order to provide the fairest opportunity to young athletes who are still in the stage of developing their potential.
For fans who want to watch the 2023 Series III Bandung POBSI Student Cup match, there’s no need to worry if you can’t attend in person, because the match can be watched live via the RCTI+ and Vision+ applications.
