There are many reactions in the West after the news of the death of Wagner’s head, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The representative of the US Security Council, Andrew Watson, speaking to Sky News, said that the White House has been informed about the event in question.
“If the information is confirmed, no one should be surprised,” he said.
“The war in Ukraine has led to a private army marching towards Moscow and now the results are showing,” he added.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a short statement that it is closely monitoring the situation that has been created in the last few hours in Moscow.
Ukraine is carefully watching what is happening in Russia. As Sky News reports, Volodymyr Zelensky’s adviser, Mykhailo Podoliak, claimed on the X platform, formerly Twitter, that Vladimir Putin was “waiting for the moment” to kill the head of the Wagner Group.
At the same time he warned that it is necessary to wait before it can be said with certainty that Prigozhin has been neutralized.
It is clear that Putin does not forgive anyone for his brutal terrorism. It is also clear that Prigozhin signed his special death warrant the moment he trusted Lukashenko’s strange “guarantees” and Putin’s “word of honor”.
