RAYONG – The defender of the U-23 Indonesian national team, Kadek Arel Priyatna revealed that Shin Tae-yong had conducted an evaluation ahead of the U-23 opponent in Thailand in the semifinals of the 2023 AFF U-23 Cup. According to him, the coach from South Korea gave directions to play simple and right decision.
Playing at the Rayong Provincial Stadium, Thailand, Thursday (24/8/2023) evening WIB, the U-23 Indonesian national team will face tough resistance from the home team. The reason is, not only Garuda Muda wants to win, but Thailand U-23 is also determined to secure a place in the top round.
Meanwhile, the U-23 Indonesian national team on paper is not favored to win, because in the group phase they were only able to win 1-0 over Timor Leste and lost 1-2 to Malaysia. In fact, Garuda Muda reached the semifinals through the best runner-up route.
Meanwhile, Thailand U-23 successfully showed a good performance in the group phase by sweeping 3 matches with a win. These results made the home team come out as winners of Group A.
Kadek Arel Priyatna said that the U-23 Indonesian national team had made preparations for the U-23 match against Thailand. He also hopes his team can get good results and ensure themselves to the final round.

The Bali United Youth graduate also said that Shin Tae-yong had provided input for his team on how to play simpler and the right way to make decisions.
“Certainly there is (evaluation), before training we have a meeting, of course there is also an evaluation of how to play and it’s simpler and you have to make decisions more precisely,” he said.
“For my preparation, of course, I am very ready to fight Thailand, and for the preparation of the team, of course we are preparing tactics for fighting Thailand, hopefully the results will be positive,” he concluded.
