Suara.com – Welcoming World Coffee Day, the Djakarta Coffee Festival and Run is here again. Not only running a marathon, but there will be dozens of coffee brands enlivening this event.
Steffy Burase, Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Djakarta Coffee Festival and Run explained, the presence of this event also promotes Indonesian local coffee and its farmers.
“More precisely, to build awareness among the Indonesian people that our coffee is the best coffee,” said Steffy Burase during a press conference at Pacific Place, South Newsdelivers.com on Tuesday (22/8/2023).

Steffy Burase’s move received support from his best friend, Edwin Super Bejo. Because now, the presenter who was a hit in the 90s is also involved in the culinary business, especially Indonesian coffee.

“I release them (participants) from behind,” said Edwin Super Bejo jokingly.
Even though he only provided support, Edwin Super Bejo ensured that the prizes in this competition were not trivial. One of the tempting things is going to Hong Kong to watch a marathon.

“The prize is running in Hong Kong. Hahahaha,” said Edwin Super Bejo.
Steffy Burase then set the record straight, meaning the involvement of the winner of Djakarta Coffee and Run in the annual event.
“Hong Kong marathon door prizes,” explained this woman who was also a model.

Not only abroad, other prizes at the event which will be held from 29 August to 1 October 2023 are smart watches, gold bars, shoes and several others.
Meanwhile for participants, there are two categories to choose from, namely 5K and 10K. For 5K, registration will be set at IDR 300,000 for early birds and the normal price is IDR 400,000. On a 10K run, an earl bird costs IDR 400,000 and IDR 500,000 at the normal price.
