The sandwich generation is a term for young people who are already married, but have the responsibility of caring for their parents. Both dependents in terms of living and spiritual. Therefore, their situation feels like being squeezed like a ‘sandwich’.
On the way to becoming the sandwich generation, some people objected. The reason is, people’s economic conditions are uncertain. Some have to support two families with a mediocre salary.
This problem was also complained of by a housewife who owns the TikTok account @tsabitalaa. Through her TikTok video, she confides that having a husband who is a sandwich generation is not free. The problem is, when the husband supports his wife’s leisure activities, he has to hide it from his family.
