If you are at risk of serious illness or fatal consequences caused by Covid-19, it may be time to pull the masks out of the drawer and protect yourself.
This is the suggestion that a number of experts are giving as the virus that caused a pandemic is circulating again.
“The advice should be taken first, the 80-year-old president Joe Biden,” said cardiologist Jonathan Reiner.
“Eighty-year-olds make up the most vulnerable group to complications caused by Covid,” added Reiner.
According to her, at least until the number of infected people drops again, it would be good for President Biden to take measures and wear a mask in populated places.
Other high-risk groups include people with diabetes, cancer, chronic liver, kidney or lung disease, organ or stem cell transplants, HIV or other immunocompromising problems, people with heart or mental health problems.
