A woman was found stabbed to death this Thursday in Piano di Sorrento in Naples, whose butchered body was stuffed in the trunk of a car.
According to preliminary data, 56-year-old Anna Scala was stabbed by a man dressed in black while opening the car door. After the crime, he put the body in the trunk of the vehicle and left the scene on a motorcycle.
The investigations are focused on the woman’s ex-boyfriend, whom she had reported to the police as stalking her.
The woman was taking food from the car when the perpetrator approached her to stab her several times. The murder took place in an area of social housing, not far from the city center.
“We were in the garage to check the works, when we heard excruciating screams, we thought about a fight, then the screams became even more excruciating and at that moment we decided to go and have a look. The scene in front of us was terrible,” says one of the witnesses who notified the authorities.
