JAKARTA – The management of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) for the 2023-2027 period was officially inaugurated by the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Friday (26/5/2023). Yunus Nusi, who had previously resigned as deputy chairperson-elect at the PSSI Extraordinary Congress (KLB) in February 2023, was appointed Secretary General (Sekjen).
PSSI general chairman Erick Thohir and 87 names of PSSI management as a result of the congress were finally inaugurated by the Central KONI at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, Friday (26/5/2023) afternoon WIB. The new inauguration can be held after the 2023 SEA Games because PSSI has a busy agenda.
KONI Chairman Marciano Norman read out decree Number 67 of 2023 concerning PSSI personnel management. The reading of the letter went smoothly.
“By asking for the blessing of the almighty God and the predetermined promise that has been made, on behalf of the KONI and as the head of the Central KONI, I officially confirm and inaugurate my brothers and sisters as PSSI administrators for the 2023-2027 term of office,” said Marciano.
After that, one by one the PSSI Exco members including Secretary General Yunus Nusi and the General Chair were summoned to the front to solemnly pinning the PSSI management badge.
Marciano symbolically gave a flag and a pin to Erick Thohir. Thus, the PSSI management for the 2023-2027 period was officially appointed.
