JAKARTA – PSSI will announce ticket prices and broadcast rights for the Indonesian national team match against Argentina on Monday, May 29 2023. Currently, PSSI is busy negotiating with Argentina regarding the distribution of ticket allocations and profit sharing.
The Indonesian national team will have two matches on the FIFA Matchday in June 2023. The two matches against Palestine and Argentina are expected to be able to raise points for the Garuda Squad in the FIFA rankings.
In the first match, the Indonesian national team faced Palestine at the Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, East Java on June 14 2023. Five days later, Shin Tae-yong’s team will meet the 2022 World Cup champion.
Indonesia will face the Argentina National Team at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, on June 19, 2023. Ahead of the two matches, PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir confirmed that the ticket prices for Indonesia vs Argentina were announced Monday (29/5/2023).
Erick explained that ticket announcements needed time because they were related to profit sharing with Argentina. Apart from that, PSSI will also confirm the broadcasting rights holders for the Indonesian National Team this year for local and international television.
“We are in the bidding process for ticketing and bidding for broadcast rights so God willing, Monday (29/5/2023) we will have an announcement for media broadcasting rights for all national team matches until the end of this year, so that Monday there will hopefully be an announcement or Tuesday, ” said Erick at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta on Friday (29/5/2023).
“Specifically for ticketing, God willing, we will announce it on Monday as well. We’ll see the time,” he continued.
But before that, Erick said that PSSI would first discuss with the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) about the distribution of ticket rations.
