BIRMINGHAM – Compact won over Chinese representatives in the semifinal match, two superior Indonesian men’s doubles, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto managed to secure tickets to the All England 2023 final.
The Daddies alias Ahsan/Hendra again reached the top of the All England 2023 after a dramatic and extraordinary match.
In the first game, The Daddies immediately fought fiercely against Chinese representatives, Liang/Wang and successfully won with a score of 21-15.
In the second game, they were still enthusiastic but a few mistakes occurred and the Chinese representative won with a narrow score of 19-21.
Then, a fierce duel occurred again so that when the deciding game had to end with a score of 29-27.
The success of Ahsan/Hendra was followed by the world’s number one men’s doubles, Fajar/Rian after defeating He Ji Ting/Zhou Hao Dong in straight games 21-19, 21-17.
The result of their persistence in maintaining the lead until the end of the game and the victory they achieved made Ahsan/Hendra and Fajar/Rian meet in the All England 2023 final, today, Sunday (19/3).
