BOGOR – Persita Tangerang won the 2022/2023 League 1 match against RANS Nusantara with a score of 2-1 at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency, Sunday (19/3/2023) evening WIB. The match was delayed for 40 minutes due to heavy rain in the middle of the first half.
In the first half, both teams threatened each other. Edo Febriansyah almost scored for RANS, while Ramiro Fergonzi and Ezequiel Vidal brought Persita a threat. However, these kicks still do not produce goals. The match was then delayed for 40 minutes due to heavy rain which caused puddles on the pitch.
After it was resumed, Persita increasingly dominated the game with a fast tempo and short passes. In the 76th minute, they managed to open the scoring through Fairuz Zaman Ohorella’s header after taking advantage of Baek Sin Yeong’s corner. However, RANS managed to equalize to 1-1 in the 79th minute through Muhammad Tahir’s goal through a dead ball scheme. However, Persita regained the lead after Baek Sin Yeong scored in the 80th minute with a hard shot from a tight angle.
Even though it was marred by delays, the match continued with high intensity and Persita managed to win the match with a score of 2-1.
