JAKARTA – Arema FC managed to win a comeback with a score of 3-1 over Persikabo 1973 in the 2022/2023 League 1 continuation match which was held at the PTIK Stadium, Jakarta, on Sunday (19/3/2023) afternoon WIB.

In the first half, Arema FC controlled the game and tried to put pressure on Persikabo’s goal. However, Persikabo also put up a pretty good fight against Arema FC. In the 39th minute, Persikabo managed to take the lead thanks to a goal created by Dimas Drajad using a pass from Lucky Octavianto. Persikabo’s advantage lasted 0-1 until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Arema FC tried to press and try to turn things around. However, Persikabo appeared very solid and did not provide Arema FC an easy chance to score. In the 71st minute, Arema FC managed to equalize to 1-1 through Dedik Setiawan after taking advantage of Muhammad Rafli’s pass.

Arema FC managed to turn things around and took the lead after Rizky Dwi Febrianto managed to execute a penalty kick in the 88th minute. Arema FC added to its lead in the 90+3 minute through a goal scored by Gian Zola. The final result of the match was a 3-1 comeback win for Arema FC over Persikabo.

Overall, this match was quite tight and exciting. Arema FC has succeeded in showing its fighting spirit and toughness in overcoming difficult circumstances. Meanwhile, Persikabo also performed quite well and provided fierce resistance.
