Italian League Results: Beat Host Torino 4-0, Napoli are increasingly difficult to chase at the top of the standings
Suara.com – Napoli successfully won three points after beating hosts Torino 4-0 in Week 27 of the Italian League at the Olimpico Grande Torino on Sunday (19/3/2023) evening WIB.
Victor Osimhen scored two goals for I Partenopei — nicknamed Napoli, with two other goals contributed by Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and Tanguy Ndombele.
With this victory, it is increasingly difficult for Napoli to be chased at the top of the Serie A standings.
Luciano Spalletti’s team have collected 71 points from 27 matches, 21 points ahead of their closest rivals, Inter Milan, who just played against Juventus on Monday (20/3/2023) early morning Western Indonesian Time.

Meanwhile, Torino dropped to 11th place with 37 points.
Victor Osimhen opened Napoli’s lead when the game had only been nine minutes old. Piotr Zielinski’s corner kick on the right flank, was greeted by Osimhen’s header into the bottom corner of Vanja Milinkovic-Savic’s goal. Score became 1-0.
Napoli were awarded a penalty after Kvaratskhelia was fouled by Karol Linetty. Kvaratskhelia stepped forward as the executor and was able to convert his shot into a goal in the 35th minute.
The first half ended with a score of 2-0.
After halftime, Napoli again scored against Torino for the third time in the 51st minute. Mathias Olivera’s cross into the penalty box was successfully headed by Osimhen from a tight angle. Torino trailed by three goals.

Napoli’s extraordinary performance was completed by their fourth goal in the 68th minute. Substitute, Tanguy Ndombele listed his name on the scoreboard.
Ndombele completed Osimhen’s collaboration with Kvaratskhelia with a low kick into the bottom corner of the goal while changing the score to 4-0.
There were no additional goals in the remaining time, Napoli won 4-0 over the home team.
