BARCELONA – Real Madrid will return to face Barcelona in the 2022/2023 Spanish League continuation. Coach Carlo Ancelotti asked Los Blancos to play comfortably in the El Clasico duel.

The Barcelona vs Real Madrid duel will take place at Camp Nou, Monday (20/4/2023) at 03.00 WIB. The final result could affect the race for the Spanish League title this season.

This is why victory is Madrid’s main target. The visitors want to close the distance with Barcelona on the standings.

Ancelotti realizes that this Clasico is very important in Madrid retaining its title. However, the Italian coach wants his team to continue to enjoy playing so they can get the most out of it.

“We have to enjoy this moment and be at the forefront of a very important game,” Carlo Ancelotti said as quoted by Real Madrid’s official website.

Lately, Madrid has had an unsatisfactory record against Barcelona. Even so, Ancelotti still believes his fleet has a great chance to win.

“We can win it if we are able to show the best of ourselves in everything, both individually, collectively, in attack and defence,” Ancelotti added.

Even though Madrid are currently nine points behind Barcelona in the standings, Ancelotti emphasized that the race for the title is not over.

He is determined to reduce the lag of Madrid from Barcelona. “We are not thinking about the league ending,” he said.

“We are focused on winning the game. That’s the only thing on our minds, we want to cut the gap,” concluded Ancelotti.
