League 1 results: Persik Kediri beats Persebaya Surabaya through the white point

KEDIRI – Persik Kediri managed to win the match against Persebaya Surabaya with a score of 1-0 in the 2022-2023 League 1 event. The match took place at the Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, East Java on Saturday (18/3/2023).

At the start of the match, Persik Kediri as the host immediately took the initiative to dominate the game. Divaldo Alves’ team plays offensively through the cooperation of wingers and midfield players.

Although several opportunities were created, Persik Kediri failed to score in the first half which lasted 0-0.

In the second half, Persik Kediri again showed high game intensity and managed to put pressure on Persebaya Surabaya. However, Persebaya Surabaya also managed to block a wave of attacks from Persik Kediri well and even carried out a counterattack which was quite dangerous.

In the 70th minute, Persebaya Surabaya had control of the game, but in the 79th minute, Persik Kediri got a golden opportunity after Arief Catur committed a serious foul, for which Persik Kediri received a penalty. Flavio Silva (80′) executed well and scored for Persik Kediri.

Even though both teams played with high intensity until the end of the match, no additional goals were created and the score remained 1-0 for Persik Kediri’s victory.
