LONDON – A number of exciting matches in European football competitions were held on Saturday (18/3/2023) local time or Sunday (19/3/2023) in the morning WIB. From the 2022/2023 English Premier League, Chelsea swallowed a draw against Everton, while from the Italian League AC Milan were humiliated by Udinese.

Chelsea failed to gain three points after being held to a 2-2 draw by Everton in the 2022/2023 English Premier League continuation at Stamford Bridge, London.

This result has kept Chelsea in 10th place in the 2022/2023 Premier League standings with 38 points from 27 matches. Meanwhile, Everton is in 15th position with 26 points, only two points ahead of the relegation zone occupied by West Ham United

In other matches, Tottenham Hotspur failed to pick up three points after being held to a 3-3 draw by bottom club Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium. The Spurs are stuck in 4th place with 49 points. Antonio Conte’s troops failed to overtake Manchester United (MU) in 3rd place (50 points). Meanwhile, Southampton are still sinking to the bottom of the standings with 23 points.

From the Italian Serie A, AC Milan lost 1-3 to Udinese at the Dacia Arena, Udine. This result did not shake Milan in 4th place in the standings with 48 points. Meanwhile, Udinese is on the 8th floor with 38 points.

From the Spanish League, Atletico Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano. Antoine Griezmann, Yannick Carrasco and Thomas Lemar contributed goals in that game.

Atletico Madrid is ranked 3rd in the 2022/2023 La Liga standings with 51 points, 5 points behind Real Madrid in 2nd place. Madrid and Barcelona (65 points) clashed today.

Meanwhile, from the 2022/2023 English FA Cup, Manchester City will qualify for the 2022/2023 FA Cup semifinals after beating Burnley 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium. Striker Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick in that game.
