Another Russian threat near NATO territory, planes take off
British and German fighter jets have spotted Russian jets flying near Estonian airspace for the second time in a week and escorted them away.
The news came from the British air force, which according to CNN spotted a Russian Tu-134 jet that was escorted by two Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker fighter jets and an AN-12 Cub transport aircraft.
British forces also added that they will stand by NATO allies during these tense times.
In the last week, there have been several incidents in the air that have further escalated the confrontations between the West and Russia.
Russian jets were once again spotted near the Estonian border, while an American drone crashed in the Black Sea after maneuvers by a Russian aircraft.
